Sonora exists because forecast quality is unverifiable everywhere it is sold. A model’s track record should be a fact, not a pitch.
Provers seal their predictions before the outcome is known. When ground truth arrives, a proof program scores the sealed forecast against it and publishes only the summary — accuracy, calibration, bias — in zero knowledge. The predictions themselves never leave the seal. Every account is one verified identity, and every miss is permanent: the record can’t be abandoned and restarted. Buyers read that record the way they’d read an instrument.
